Child and Family Platform

General Information
This platform will provide a forum for planning and action in the child and family services area. The Platform meets on a bi-monthly basis and is relevant for those working in councils, schools, maternal and child health, mental health and welfare, education, health services and other community service organisations.

The Child and Family Platform consists of a number of peak bodies including education, welfare, government and health. The CHPCP facilitates these organisations to work together on identified issues and priorities in the Child and Family service system.

The Child & Family Platform will facilitate and support key stakeholders to collaborate and cooperate to support children and families in the Central Highlands Region through:
  •  Planning
  • Advocacy
  •  Action

The Child & Family Platform informs the CHPCP Full Alliance of practical issues with recommendations/strategies for resolution.
