Youth Platform - Central Highlands Regional Youth Affairs Network (CHRYAN)

General Information


The Central Highlands Regional Youth Affairs Network (CHRYAN)  has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Highlands Primary Care Partnership to act as the Youth Platform for the pcp . The MoU is a partnership agreement between the two organisations to work collaboratively together to foster supportive environments for young people living in the Central Highlands region. 

To do this, CHRYAN will work strategically with Youth Service Providers to influence service systems and processes to increase the ease of access to services and have a positive impact on the client experience within the Central Highlands Region. The RYAN provides a forum for sharing ideas and information, identifies, advocates and responds to service gaps and issues.Central Highlands RYAN informs the CHPCP Full Alliance of practical issues with recommendations/strategies for resolution and is in a position to provide feedback & advice to the state government.

Priorities for the Central Highlands RYAN

CHRYAN priorities are: Youth mental health and Youth disengagement from education.
